Antigua and Barbuda: The Tourism Ministry of Barbuda has launched the first-ever marketing campaign for the unique appeal of Barbuda, in collaboration with a United Kingdom-based creative agency – Barbuda Council and Motel.
“The Tourism Ministry has collaborated with the Barbuda Council and Motel, a United Kingdom-based creative agency, to launch the first-ever marketing campaign for the unique appeal of Barbuda,” the government of Antigua and Barbuda mentioned.
It further stated that the campaign would focus on targeting the high-value markets and on the appeal of the sister isle.
On Monday morning, a team from Antigua journeyed to the sister isle to launch the campaign under the theme, which says, “We have one ferry, two flights and ten taxis; we’d love you to come but please, not all at once.”
The CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, Colin James, has stated that he is excited about the prospects of further tapping Barbuda’s allure to grow the industry.
The Tourism Authority of Antigua and Barbuda has launched the campaign with the Barbuda Council and Motel to position Barbuda as an off the beaten track island escape. Still, unlike your usual tourism advertising, this campaign doesn’t plead with customers to visit.
Tourism in Antigua and Barbuda is one of the most significant contributors to the economy and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). An increase in the tourism sector will directly give a boost to the revenue generated in the island country.
