Tourism Ministry in Trinidad announces temporary disruptions
Temporary disruptions have been announced by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the arts Trinidad and Tobago at the tourism sites. These disruptions have been announced to facilitate upgrade works at the locations.

Trinidad and Tobago: Temporary disruptions have been announced by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Trinidad and Tobago at the tourism sites.
These disruptions have been announced to facilitate upgrade works at the locations. The location involves two tourist sites that are:
- Maracas Beach Facility
- Las Cuevas Beach Facility
The disruptions announced will last from January 2, 2024 to June 13, 2024 at Maracas Beach Facility and the Las Cuevas Beach Facility will have the disruptions till April 30, 2024. These have been announced aiming at better facilities.
Further, the ministry of tourism advised the visitors as well. This advice involves certain cautions that the visitors need to take care of. These include:
- Visitors need to proceed with caution, adhering to all temporary signage directions and barriers.
- Comply with instructions from health and safety officers and personnel on site.
- Beware of construction equipment in and around the site.
Considerably, the ministry is also open for queries, having even mentioned in the issued notice that people can reach out to them in case they want any enquiry. For the same people can contact the Ministry at 612 – 8853 with extension 1901 or 1902, and they can only contact during the working hours (from 8 am to 4 pm) on business days that is Monday to Friday.

Importantly, the ministry is also committed to ensuring all the required steps that are being taken by the personnel, agents and contractors. All these actions ensure the maintenance of health, safety and environmental standards.
No doubt, disruptions will cause certain inconveniences, however these are to facilitate upgrade works that are necessary for the boost of the tourism sector in the country. Also, these modifications done through the construction works or any other ways would provide better results through the increased tourism in the region.
