Stage set for first ‘Jazz’ n Arts Paradise’, Dominica’s Tourism Ministry extends welcome

The Ministry of Tourism, Paradise Valley and Waitukubuli Artists Association of Dominica extended an invitation to all the citizens for the very first ‘Jazz’ n Arts Paradise’ daytime event.

Roseau, Dominica: The Ministry of Tourism, Paradise Valley and Waitukubuli Artists Association extended an invitation to all the citizens for the very first ‘Jazz’ n Arts Paradise’ daytime event. The event, a part of the fringe activities is being hosted by the magnificent Paradise Valley in Borne on Saturday, 4th May 2024.

The event will run from 12 pm to 7 pm and promises to offer a plethora of experiences to all the visitors. The attendees of the event will be offered soothing Jazz music, tasty cuisine, nature tours, art exhibitions and many more exciting services with the motive to make their visit memorable and comfortable. 

The event will be graced with the electrifying performances of several artists who are also excited to perform for the crowd of Dominica. The artists have expressed excitement about celebrating art, music, love, people and nature with the local citizens and visitors of the island nation. 

The lineup of the artists features, Kozeika, AbiYah, YisRael, Kimani T, Paix Bouche Drummers, Karina, Band Akayo, DJ Remz, and Cultural Division Jing Ping, promising a unique and vibrant musical experience.  

During the event, visitors coming to Paradise Valley will also be able to indulge in activities like live painting, an art gallery, a Master Class in Floral Arrangement, Pig Roast and Botanical Garden Tours. 

The fee to attend the first Jazz’ n Arts in Paradise’ day time event varies from person to person, which are as follows:

  • For a normal entry, the amount to be paid: $20
  • For the person who wants to enter with a meal, the fee is $50
  • For entry, meal and tour: $60
  • There is an exclusive offer the couples and their entry fee is $100
  • For children under 12, entry to the event is free.
  • For children ages 12 to 17 will have to pay $10 to attend the event. 

The one-day event organised by the tourism ministry also aims to provide a platform for all the local citizens to showcase their talent and creativity in the form of businesses, culinary and arts. 

Moreover, the Jazz and Creole Arts Festival will take place on 5th May 2024, which is a beautiful chance for all music lovers to unite and experience the fusion of Jazz and Creole music. It is also a unique opportunity for travellers to explore the unparalleled ambience of the festival along with its rich cultural heritage of the nation.
