St Maarten Art of Time and Doxa reveals first look of limited edition watch

A retailer named Art of Time based in St Maarten collaborated with Doxa watchmaker company to launch a limited edition watch. The first look of the exclusive edition SUB 200 Azure model is revealed, which is a luxury dive watch.

Doxa joined hands to bring 50 pieces of limited-range watches to the market, which will be only available at the boutique of the Art of Time on the Dutch Caribbean island nation of St Maarten. The design of the watch is inspired by the blue waters of the region.

The limited SUB 200 Azure watches is coming with a brushed and polished stainless steel case of 42 mm diameter. The watch is 46 mm in length and 13.8 mm in thickness. The lyre-style lugs are added to the design, which makes it look more compact in its appearance.

The limited edition diving watch is equipped with a screw-down crown and caseback. This feature is focused on the divers and allows them to go two hundred meters down in the water bed without suffering any damage to the device with water resistance.

As the new watch by Doxa and Art of Time will go to just fifty individuals around the globe, the manufacturers added a fish symbol to it. The individual numberings are also added to the number to preserve its uniqueness.

The bezel of the watch, like other diving watches in the market, is kept rotatable in one direction. The unidirectional bezel has a sapphire crystal and a coin-edge profile. A 60-minute dive scale is added to it in order to help the diver note their time while inside the water.

The watch by Doxa contains domed sapphire crystal over its dial, which adds a retro touch to the watch and gives it a look of vintage plexiglass like the classic range of watches. The dial is kept of light blue color which plays with light and reflects sunray.

The diving watch by Doxa for Art of Time in St Maarten is powered by the ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. The addition is seen reliable in the watches which helps individuals a 38-hour power reserve. The price of the limited edition Doxa SUB 200 Azure watch is priced at 1590 US dollars.
