Chair of the National COVID-19 Task Force of St Kitts and Nevis, Abdias Samuel, urged all travellers to upload accurate and correct test results and other important information to knatravelform.kn for smooth processing of their online customs and immigration forms, and their entry into the country.
Mr Samuel said that people are uploading receipts and things which cannot be verified, and it is not acceptable.
He urged the travellers to ensure that when they upload their test, it verifies everything, including the name and location of the lab and the information.
He said that persons who use home kit testing and others are not accepted.
Mr Samuel added that the Government would only accept Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction and any rapid test or other types of test will not be accepted.
He said that the travellers must do so, and if they do not do so, and there is no means of verifying the tests, their application would not be processed.
Mr Samuel also said that persons who upload incorrect information are putting other people at risk.
He pointed out that they see several irregularities related to the approval process where people attempt to circumvent the system by uploading wrong information, the false test and doing other things for them to travel.
He said that by doing this, such persons are jeopardizing the travellers who travel with them, and they are jeopardizing the country at large.
He urged everyone who wants to travel to St Kitts and Nevis to upload their test and information is the correct manner.
He said that the right way of submitting the test and information is to visit knatravelform.kn and follow the requirements mentioned on the website.
Mr Samuel thanked the team responsible for the vetting process and said that the team is working very hard to ensure that the travellers understand the requirements properly.
