St Kitts and Nevis: The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the twin-island Federation has been reported as 5,798.

St Kitts and Nevis: The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the twin-island Federation has been reported as 5,798, and 16 cases have been noticed in the previous 24 hours, according to the St Kitts and Nevis COVID-19 situation report shared on June 3, 2022 (Friday).
Out of the total, the number of confirmed cases reported in St Kitts is 4,873, and the remaining- 925 cases of the deadly virus were reported from the small island Nevis.
The Federation of St Kitts and Nevis has been witnessing a surge in cases of the infectious virus. The total active COVID-19 cases in the country has reached up to 88, of which 57 cases have been reported from St Kitts, and 31 were registered from Nevis.
As many as 14 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours islandwide. The newly reported recoveries have taken the tally to 5,667. Out of the total recoveries, 4,873 were registered from St Kitts, whereas 891 were registered from Nevis.
Currently, the country has been suddenly witnessing a hike in cases after reporting zero (0) COVID cases in the period of 24 hours for around a month or more.
The total number of negative tests reported in the country is 79,122.
After witnessing a hike in the cases of the deadly virus, the government of St Kitts and Nevis, jointly with the Ministry of Health, has asked the residents and tourists to follow proper COVID-19 protocols. The government and ministry have urged them to wear face masks, maintain social distancing, sanitize as well as wash their hands regularly.
