St Kitts and Nevis to welcome over 8K cruise passengers this week

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The tourism authority of St Kitts and Nevis is all set to welcome around 8026 passengers to the island nation within a span of one week.
Recently, the tourism authority unveiled the cruise schedule for the August 2024 and according to it, two vessels will dock at the shores of the island nation. With the arrival of these vessels, the tourism authority of the country is all set to witness a significant boost in the tourism sector of the country.
As per the schedule, Icon of the Seas will mark its visit to the shores of the country on Tuesday, 13th August and on the other hand, Rhapsody of the Seas will arrive on the island nation on Wednesday, 21st August. The tourism authority stated that the visit of the cruises to the country always plays a huge role in not only developing the tourism sector of the nation but others as well.
The large number of tourists arrived on the island nation will result in benefitting other sectors such as accommodation, transportation and many more. It will also create a platform for the local citizens to showcase and sell their locally produced goods and generate huge amount of revenues for the nation.
The tourism authority of the country continued to say that they are aiming to provide all the cruise passengers with plethora of experiences, ensuring to make their visit memorable and comfortable. They added that the passengers will get an opportunity to explore the vibrant offerings and hotspot destinations of St Kitts and Nevis.
While shedding light on the benefits earned due to the arrival of the cruises, the authorities stated that it plays a key role in generating employment opportunities, fostering cultural exchange and enhancing economic growth of the country. They also added that the arrival of a large number of tourists to the country is always a special moment as people from all over the world get a chance to understand and enjoy the rich cultural heritage of the nation.
Icon of the Seas
It is known as the largest cruise ship that features several exciting amenities for all its visitors, including 7 largest pools at sea, Royal Bay, an infinity pool called The Hideaway, and the ever-popular Flow rider surf stimulator. The ship also has a range of accommodations, including rooms with balconies and ocean views, as well as a townhouse-style room called the Ultimate Family Townhouse. Along with that, it features 20 decks, out of which 18 are passenger, a sprawling aquapark, a pool for adults, plenty of dining options, and many more.
Rhapsody of the Seas
