St Kitts and Nevis: Dr Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis is on his first working trip to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Prime Minister’s official visit started on November 29, 2022, and is scheduled to end on December 3, 2022.

PM Terrance Drew has been accompanied by Marsha Henderson, Tourism Minister; Garth Wilkin, the Attorney-General; Dr Marcus Natta, the Cabinet Secretary; Sylvester Anthony and Veira Galloway.

The visit will open numerous business opportunities for the Federation and will help to tell the world that it is open for business and is all set to attract investors who seek mutually beneficial partnerships with the nation, the government of St Kitts and Nevis stated.

PM Drew said that this visit will provide a chance for the leaders of both the countries to identify new areas of collaboration in advancing economic recovery, stability as well as reaffirming the solid foundation.

According to the schedule, the UAE Embassy of St Kitts and Nevis will organise a cocktail event on December 1, 2022 (Thursday) for investors, business partners, and citizens. The attendees will meet the PM of St Kitts and Nevis as well as his delegation.

Prime Minister has visited the country amid the times when the world is affected by the consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the impacts of the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

It is optimised that this visit will help the nation in deepening relationships with some government-approved agents, supporting the country’s recently upgraded Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programme. The CBI Programme of St Kitts and Nevis is the oldest in the and, since then, has been assisting the country in economic and social development projects. The programme also provides an option to invest direct foreign investment in upliftment projects of education, health, tourism and infrastructure.
