St Kitts and Nevis PM Terrance Drew holds talks with US Ambassador on diplomatic ties
Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, met with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Linda Taglialatela.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, met with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Linda Taglialatela.
As per the update, the meeting was fruitful and productive, focusing on strengthening the diplomatic ties between both countries.
Prime Minister of the Federation, Dr Drew, shared the updates regarding the meeting through official social media. He noted, “Today I held fruitful bilateral talks with U.S. Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, H.E. Linda Taglialatela.”

According to social media, the major focus of the meeting was strengthening diplomatic ties. The prime topics which were discussed were security and renewable energy matters.
According to the update shared by the government of St Kitts and Nevis, “Our discussions were geared towards the strengthening of ties and cooperation on security and renewable energy matters.”
In addition to this, Prime Minister Drew also met with the Ambassador of Cuba to St Kitts and Nevis. During this meeting, he attended a short ceremony to donate supplies to the beloved students in Cuba.
“Today I was joined by the Ambassador of Cuba to St Kitts and Nevis in a short ceremony donating supplies to our beloved students in Cuba,” he informed the general public through his official social media.
It additionally noted, “I am a Cuban graduate and fully understand the needs of our students to ensure that their stay in Cuba is optimal.”
According to the official statement, the shipment of the container was made possible through collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office, the Solid Waste Management Corporation (SWMC), the CARE Foundation, and other stakeholders within the private sector, as well as parents of the students.
He took this opportunity to thank the Government and people of Cuba for their continued support of our human development through scholarships.
