Sonesta Corporation to expand in Caribbean with 5 ES Suites hotels

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation announced their plans to expand in the Caribbean region along with Latin America. The corporation announced about its deal for the expansion with five ES Suites hotels in the island nation of the Dominican Republic.

The project to build five luxury hotels by Sonesta Corporation in the Dominican Republic will be completed in the time span of seven years till 2031, as per the plans. It is disclosed that the first hotel as a stepping stone in the Caribbean will be opened in Jarabacoa in 2026.

It is mentioned by the corporation officials that the first property of Sonesta ES Suites Elements Jarabacoa will be opened to host visitors in the early months of 2026. The project of five Sonesta ES Suites properties is signed along with Almanzar Marte Ingenieros and Arquitectos.

Almanzar Marte Ingenieros and Arquitectos is a company based in the Dominican Republic that is franchising the project. The company has a record of constructing and developing more than a hundred residential projects in Santo Domingo.

Brian Quinn, the Chief Development Officer for Sonesta Corporation, said about the venture, “With the construction of these hotels, Sonesta continues its expansion in the LATAM region to meet rising consumer and franchisee demand in the region for upscale apartment-style accommodations.”
