Second Kittitian added to West Indies Test squad against England, another Louis brother

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: It is a huge development for the sports department of St. Kitts and Nevis as Jeremiah Louis have been selected for the West Indies test squad against England. He followed the footsteps of his brother, Mikyle and became second Kittitian to represent his country on an international platform.

Mikyle Louis is the first Kittitian who created a history by becoming the first ever cricketer from St. Kitts to play for West Indies Cricket team. Also, this is for the first time that two Kittitians and siblings have been selected for the West Indies test Squad. This achievement of both the brothers is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication towards making all their countrymen proud.

Jeremiah Louis had made a remarkable contribution in 2024 in the West Indies Four Day Championship where he took an impressive 29 wickets at an average rate of 14.78. His performance was lauded by several cricket lovers who also wished to see him playing for West Indies Cricket team.

And, finally his selection to the West Indies Test team has made the fans excited who are stating that his selection marks a huge milestone in his career and is also a proud moment for entire St. Kitts and Nevis. His records and performances reflect that the players have a promising future as he joins the West Indies cricket.

The West Indies players will tour England for the three-test Richards Botham Series which will take place on 10^th July 2024. Before the first test game, both the teams will play a 4-day warm-up match at Beckingham, effective from 4^th July.

With the addition of dynamic duo of Louis brothers in team, the Management of West Indies Cricket is optimistic about the upcoming series and is hoping that a blend of seasoned players and emerging faces would prove to be exciting and dangerous against England.
