PM Drew celebrates historic moment as Course 46 welcomes large number of female recruits

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew extended heartfelt congratulations to the men and women of Course 46. The country celebrated the 43rd passing out parade of police recruits that is course 46 of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.

St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew extended heartfelt congratulations to the men and women of Course 46. The country celebrated the 43rd passing out parade of police recruits which is course 46 of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force.

The PM further added that it is a proud moment for the country. And, the pleasure he had during the parade was remarkable.

“Your unwavering commitment, discipline, and dedication have brought you to this pivotal juncture- a moment that not only signifies just the culmination of your rigorous training but also the commencement of the noble journey as Police Officers, working to safeguard our beloved nation” mentioned the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister highlighted the hard work of the police officers and appreciated their determination towards work.

Considerably, the PM extended special congratulations to No. 446 W/Const Danecia Henry and No. 076 S/Const Patrick Bradshaw who led the platoon exceptionally.

Under this, female recruits were the largest in number which made it a historic celebration. It became history as it was for the first time in the history of the region that recruits led their platoon.

“Job well done,” quoted the Prime Minister

With this statement, he appreciated the work and even the citizens expressed their pleasure on this.

“History was made sir! Never before this happened. Young officers of the said course were given a chance to pull their platoon. They definitely showed the world why our young people should be given chances. Congratulations C46,” commented one.

“Congratulations PM, I am surprised to see so many young females. And, congratulations to you,” mentioned another.

The PM extended best wishes to the recruits and said “I wish you all the best on your journey. Serve your country and people with distinction.”
