Saint Lucia unveiled the schedule for the Quarter Finals of the Prime Minister’s Independence T20 Cup. It is to be noted that four games will be played on Saturday, 17th February, 2024 at different timings and venues.

Castries, Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia unveiled the schedule for the Quarter Finals of the Prime Minister’s Independence T20 Cup. It is to be noted that four games will be played on Saturday, 17th February 2024 at different timings and venues.
Saint Lucia will celebrate its 45th anniversary of Independence on Thursday, 22nd February 2024. This year, Independence Day is being celebrated under the theme “Douvan Ansanm; Building a nation through Unity, Resilience and Creativity.”
The Island nation is conducting various activities to celebrate its 45 years of Independence. Among those, one of the events is the Prime Minister’s Independence T20 Cup. The matches of the league began on 3rd February and it will be played till 25th February 2024.
Schedule of the Quarter Finals of Prime Minister’s Independence T20 Cup
- The first game will be conducted between Micoud and Vieux Forth North at 10:00 am at Piaye Playing Field.
- Mon Repos and Soufriere will compete against each other. The match will be played at Mindoo Phillip Park and will begin at 10:00 am.
- Central Castries and Mabouya will face each other in the third game of the day at Mindo Phillip Park at 2:00 pm.
- Choiseul will compete against Gros Islet at 2:00 pm at Piaye Playing Field.
Moreover, Saint Lucia’s 45 years of independence promises a celebration of the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation filled with lots of fun activities, dance, music, food and many more.
The celebration of the event commenced on 28th January and it will be continued till 6th April, 2024. Various activities and events were conducted on the island nation, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the country. Therefore, the series of activities began with the Independence Baton Relay Launch.
Following that, many other activities, National Awards of Excellence, Praise & Worship- Ecumenical Service and many others took place. Meanwhile, the upcoming events include District Rallies, 42nd National Sports Awards, Independence Service Day, National Colours Day, Seafood Fest and many more crucial events.
All those events highlight the importance and significance of the richness and uniqueness of the island nation.
