The prices of Gasoline, Diesel, Petrol and Kerosene has been reduced by the Jamaican government, which will be in effect from today onwards only.

Kingston, Jamaica: The prices of Gasoline, Diesel, Petrol and Kerosene has been reduced by the Jamaican government, which will be in effect from today onwards only (November 25, 2021).
The price for 87- and 90-octane gasoline have been reduced by $0.25 and now will be sold at – $159.69 and $165.14 per litre, respectively.
While, diesel has also witnessed a decline of $0.25, taking the price down to $160.05 per litre. On the other hand, the ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.25 and will be sold for – $164.63 per litre.
Meantime, kerosene has been decreased in price by – $0.25 and will now be sold for $137.82 per litre.
The Propane liquid petroleum has been decreased by $3.00 and would now be retailed at a price for $74.24 per litre, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.34 per litre after a decrease of $3.00.
The retailers and the marketing companies will total their respective mark-up to these prices.
Gasoline prices in other Caribbean countries are as follows:
- Antigua and Barbuda – US $1.019 per litre.
- Cuba – US $1.200 per litre.
- Dominica – US $0.918 litre.
- Haiti – US $0.535 per litre.
- The Bahamas – US $1.935 per litre.
- Barbados – US $1.957 per litre.
Diesel price in the other Caribbean countries:
- Antigua and Barbuda – US $0.994 per litre.
- Cuba – US $ 1.000 per litre.
- Dominica – US $0.522 per litre.
- Haiti – US $ 0.450 per litre.
- The Bahamas – US $ 1.233 per litre.
- Barbados – US $1.625 per litre.
Petrol prices in the other Caribbean nations:
- Antigua and Barbuda – US $1.019 per litre.
- Cuba – US $ 1.200 per litre.
- Dominica – US $ 1.272 per litre.
- Haiti – US $0.535 per litre.
- The Bahamas – US $1.395 per litre.
