St Kitts and Nevis: Mark Brantley, Premier of Nevis, has condemned all acts of vandalism and all such criminal behaviour in the nation unreservedly.
Mark Brantley, Premier of Nevis, stated, “I have this morning seen a very disturbing video of allegations about a farm being destroyed.
“I gather that no police complaint has been filed but urge that such a report be filed so that a full investigation can be initiated,” he added.
Furthermore, he added, “This is the 3rd incident that we have had in recent months. As Premier of Nevis, I condemn all acts of vandalism unreservedly, and all such criminal behaviour has to be widely condemned by all right-thinking members of our beloved Nevis.”
He advised, “I urge citizens and residents who may have relevant information to cooperate with and assist the Police fully.”
A resident commented, “This was an evil & wicked act – the people who are responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law – jail time & monetary compensation – IF THEY CAN’T SELL THEIR ASSETS & PAY THE MAN – then let them have to work the rest of their lives to pay for all the damage they did.”
“Wait, Premier, you spent an entire radio show lambasting the gentleman and now after you have sown the seeds of divisive and sicken behaviour, you want to say, “I condemn all acts of vandalism unreservedly” I will pray for you,” a citizen stated.
Seth Williams, a resident, stated, “It’s so sad of what we are doing to our Nevisian Brother. This can’t and shouldn’t be about politics, and we are bigger than that. I am glad to know and always knew my Premier Mark Brantley had no hands in that. Mr Premier, please offer any assistance need to find the culprit, or else it will turn ugly in my beautiful island of Nevis at a time when you are looking for unified Nevis.”
