PM Terrance Drew outlines developmental policies in education, medical and financial sector

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew delivered a revolutionary package of policies which has played a huge role in leading the young people of the Federation towards growth and development.

PM Drew stated that his government has always prioritized the education sector and has guaranteed education up to the college level so that all the citizens of the island nation can have the best access to the modern and quality education with upgraded and modern technological facilities.

Following that, the leader of the nation asserted about the guaranteed medical care for all the children and stated that his administration has and will continue to strive hard for enhancing the best medical facilities in the nation.

He noted that the security and well-being of the citizens of the nation is his topmost priority and he will continue to introduce innovative and advanced facilities so that all the children and citizens can avail the benefit of highly equipped medical amenities.

After that, the Prime Minister shed light on the Children’s financial education and savings program which was implemented in the country with a vision to enhance the financial literacy and well-being of the nation’s youth. The Prime Minister noted that this programme will empower the youth with the knowledge which is crucial to navigate the complexities of the financial world.

He added that several topics will be covered like budgeting, investing, entrepreneurship, saving and understanding financial markets in order to empower the next generation to be the architects of their own financial destiny and become the contributors to the sustained prosperity of the nation.

While shedding light on all these policies and its benefits, PM Terrance Drew stated that this package is unique to St Kitts and Nevis, this secures the children of the country and this is what the Labour Party is all about.
