PM Roosevelt Skerrit welcomes Thibaud Primary School students on educational tour

The Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit expressed the pleasure on welcoming the students and teachers of the Thibaud Primary school to the Office of the Prime Minister as part of their educational tour to Roseau.

Roseau, Dominica: The Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit expressed the pleasure of welcoming the students and teachers of the Thibaud Primary school to the Office of the Prime Minister as part of their educational tour to Roseau.

The students of the school visited several of the departments to get a first-hand view of government operations. The purpose of the visit was to analyze the ways how the government operates.

The Prime Minister highlighted that while having the interaction with the students, several of the questions become a part of it. The questions were about the role of the  Prime Minister and everyday administration in the country.

“Our interaction included questions about the role of the Prime Minister and the day to day administration of the country’s affairs. I was happy to provide the students with an insight into government functions and responsibilities,” mentioned the Prime Minister.

On the social media handle, the PM also shared some of the glimpses of his interaction with the students.

Even, the general public showered immense love on such an action which took place in the country. The expressions by the public were so clearly revealing the public’s support for the leader. As one of the citizens, shared that it was a great initiative and more of such needed to be done.

The citizens also highlighted that this way, even the children say that they met the leader in the country.

One of the students named Kisha Remie who was present in the interaction mentioned, “It was a pleasure being in your company with the students. They certainly enjoyed the interaction. Thanks again for taking time off from your busy schedule to meet with the students. Thibaud Primary will always be grateful.”

Not only this, people even prayed and extended best wishes to the Prime Minister.

“May the Good Lord continue to bless you PM, you have been doing your best for everyone big and small, old and young. You are the best and the first PM to care for the people and the country. God continues to bless you and your family and the Government,” added one of the citizens.
