Paradise Beach is named Best Caribbean Beach in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers Choice Awards in 2024. This Caribbean Beach can be found on Grenada’s sister island, Carriacou.
‘USA Today’ has published a guide for travellers to find their dream beach in the Caribbean, citing Paradise Beach as one of the most popular beaches in Carriacou, Grenada, where the water is clear and the sand is white.
Paradise Beach is a must-visit for those who want to experience a slice of paradise.
The beautiful sites of lush green shady trees, white sand and clear turquoise waters give Paradise Beach its name. For shopping and eating, there is a souvenir shop with handmade crafts, restaurants and bars nearby.
As per USA Today, the beaches listed in the Best Caribbean Beach are the following,
– Paradise Beach: Carriacou, Grenada
– Meads Bay Beach: West End, Anguilla
– Bambarra Beach: Turks and Caicos Islands
– Shoal Bay: Anguilla
– Eagle Beach: Aruba
– Isla Verde: Carolina, Puerto Rico
– Grand Anse Beach: St Geoges’, Grenada
– Dickenson Bay: Antigua and Barbuda
– Grace Bay Beach: Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
– Honeymoon Beach: St John, US Virgin Islands
Noting this, Mainland Grenada counted itself in the Best Caribbean Beach list, and the famous and renowned Grand Anse Beach in St George’s secured a position of 8th best beach.
Further, the Grand Anse is popularly known for its creamy white sand and has an old Caribbean feeling.
It is to be noted that USA Today organised a panel to acknowledge the winners. The panel included a travel expert who nominated their top beaches as their top picks of the list, and then the readers were supposed to vote for their favourite.
These enlisted beaches are a must-visit, as one may find true scenic views and picturesque spots across the site. A tour to the Caribbean is always incomplete if one does not visit these beaches.
