Nevis: Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant returns, 11 nations to vie for crown

The Nevis Island is all set to host the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant on 5th August 2024. This event is a part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Nevis Culturama Festival held in the island nation annually.

Nevis: The Nevis Island is all set to host the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant on 5th August 2024. This event is a part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Nevis Culturama Festival held in the island nation annually.

A total of 11 beauties from the diverse Caribbean nations will be competing at the 2024 Pageant. While unveiling the lineup of this year’s event, the authorities stated that it is a beautiful showcase of the region’s beauty, intelligence and cultural heritage.

All the beauties of the Caribbean nations will compete in various categories including best interview, talent, swimwear, evening wear, question and answer session and many more. The authorities noted that it is a great platform for the contestants to showcase their talent, beauty, abilities, and skills, in order to win over the title of the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant 2024.

The beauties that will be competing in this year’s pageant includes, Dominique Trotman from Antigua and Barbuda. She was the first runner-up in Antigua’s Carnival Queen Pageant and is now all set to represent her nation in Nevis. St Kitts and Nevis will be represented by Desnarine Hanley who has also been the National Queen of her federation of St Kitts and Nevis.

The Nevis Island who has been the winner of this title twice before will be represented by the reigning Miss Culture Queen, Nykeisha Henry. On the other hand, Guyana who was crowned Miss Caribbean Culture 2023 aims to defend their title with Shequana Holder.

The Anguilla representor, Jackeedah Bryan aims to inspire all the young girls with her participation in the pageant and is all set to showcase her charm and elegance. The teen queen of Dominica, Kyanna Dyer is all set to represent the Nature Isle in Nevis and is all ready to win over the hearts and minds of the audience and judges through her beauty.

Last year, three individual contestants from St John, St Thomas and St Croix participated from their respective areas in the pageant but this year a’Zirah Armstrong will represent all three as Miss US Virgin Islands and is aiming to vie the crown for her nation. Geekella Ermay is all set to put her best self forward in the pageant by representing her nation, Saint Lucia.

Tineka Francois who will be competing at the Miss Jaycees Queen Show in Antigua will also represent Trinidad and Tobago in the 2024 Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant as well. Meanwhile, Turks and Caicos and Haiti will be represented by their beauties Aaliyah Elliott and Valentchina Dantes respectively.

It is also a great opportunity for all the participants to showcase the vibrant culture and traditions of the country through their performances.
