Leon Bailey’s goal secures victory for Jamaica in CONCACAF NATIONS LEAGUE
Jamaica closes as a leader by reaching 10 points at Group Stage and will compete for the Cupa America 2024.

Kingston, Jamaica: Jamaica secured victory in the CONCACAF League 2023 against Haiti in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, at Hasely Crawford Stadium. Leon Bailey has made the goal and made the country capture the victory in the match of the league.
The Reggae Boyz beat Haiti 3-2 in the early morning hours of Monday to move clear at the top of Group B as they are already qualified for the quarterfinals.
Leon Bailey scored in the second half before the home side pulled one back later and was able to make it 3-1.

Honduras scored at home and qualified into the next round as 2nd in Group B.
Their competition will be witnessed after the Group A match.
Grenada and Haiti said goodbye as they were defeated in the contest.

Jamaica came from behind to defeat the Haitian team 3-2. The Reggae Boyz qualified for the quarterfinals with 10 points from the five matches. At the same time, Haiti finished with just three points and consigned to League B.
Honduras closes with seven points, and they will compete with Jamaica.
Jamaica responded with goals from Demarai Gray just two minutes later when Frantzdy Pierrot fired Haiti into the lead. Although Pierret got second for Haiti just three minutes from the time, it was not enough for a comeback.
Shamar Nicholson and Leon Bailey stroked the second half of the match.
Jamaica had the first real attempt at goal in the eighth minute when Di’Shon Bernard assigned Leon Bailey’s corner the target.
However, Johnny Placide- the Goalkeeper, turned his effort around the post.
About Leon Bailey:
Leon Bailey was born on August 9, 1997. He is a Jamaican professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Aston Villa and the Jamaican national team as a right winger.
Bailey was named to the Jamaican provisional squad for the 2019 CONCACAF GOLD CUP in May 2019 to represent Reggae Boyz. He scored his first goal for Jamaica against Antigua and Barbuda on September 6, 2019, webbing the fifth goal in a 6-0 victory in the CONCACAF Nations League.
