Jamaica set to host Reggae Gold Awards
Jamaica is all set to culminate Reggae Month with entertaining Reggae Gold Awards and Jamaica Music Museum Hall of Fame Inductions 2024. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 29th February 2024 at 7:00 pm at the National Indoor Sports Centre, National Stadium Complex.

Jamaica: Jamaica is all set to culminate Reggae Month with entertaining Reggae Gold Awards and Jamaica Music Museum Hall of Fame Inductions 2024. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 29th February 2024 at 7:00 pm at the National Indoor Sports Centre, National Stadium Complex.
Reggae Month is celebrated in the nation in order to celebrate the rich and vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation. The festival celebrates soulful melodies and electrifying Jamaican rhythms which bring a sense of unity and diversity among all its citizens.
The Reggae Month will culminate with excellent and thrilling performances of various artists including, Third World, Jesse Royal, Etana, Lutan Fyah, Quique Neira and many more. All these artists are all set to perform for Jamaica’s audience and have expressed their excitement for the same.
Notably, Reggae Month 2024 is powered by Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum, the official spirit of Reggae Month. This collaboration between Wray & Nephew and the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport of Jamaica focuses on captivating the maximum attention of Jamaican and international fans with the motive of preserving Jamaica’s reggae legacy.
On 6th February 2024, a musical tribute was also paid to Bob Marley in order to celebrate the laurels he has brought as a Jamaican and also the contribution he has given in the field of music.
Reggae Gold Awards will be conducted with a motive to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of the artists in the field of music who have elevated Jamaican reggae music to greater heights.
Various activities and events were conducted in Reggae Month 2024 such as celebrating the History of Reggae music, reggae films and organizing Global Reggae night.
All these activities were conducted with the aim of promoting the dynamic and exciting reggae music of Jamaica and making the audience groove to its tunes.
Various residents of the community have expressed their excitement about the Reggae month.
One person commented, “It is so exciting, the Reggae month was very exciting, hoping to have more fun on Friday.”
