Japan: Identical twins from Japan have become “world’s oldest identical twins” at the age of 107. The Guinness book of world record shared the information through their Instagram handle.
The post cited, “Congratulations to 107-year-old sisters named as – Umeno Sumiyama and Koume Kodama from Japan who has been confirmed as world’s oldest identical twins. The sisters have achieved records for the oldest identical twins living (female) and oldest identical twins ever – (female) at – 107 years and 300 days old as of 1 September 2021.”
The twins started living apart while they were in young age. When they completed their elementary school, Koume left the island to assist her uncle. But later in life, from their 70s onwards, both of them began to spend more time together.
Guinness book of world record also shared the beautiful pictures of identical twins from Japan.
