The devastating effects of Hurricane Beryl makes landfall on Carriacou Island of Grenada and the entire island nation is experiencing intense wind and threat. As per the authorities, winds increased up to 150 mph, resulted in causing severe damages to the island nation.

The National Hurricane Centre called it an extremely dangerous and life-threatening situation. As per the reports, Beryl is expected to remain a powerful hurricane as it moves across the Caribbean Sea later this week and in Jamaica.

The current situations of the island nation have become a huge cause of concern for the safety of the residents of the community. The Government has advised all the nation to take preventive measures and stay indoors in order to protect themselves from the destructions caused by Hurricane Beryl.


Also, the Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell has stated that he is working along with the members of his team at NADMA’s Command Center in order to ensure the safety and well-being of his nation. With a motive of protecting the citizens from any kind of disturbances, the administration of Grenada also implemented a state of emergency for seven days as the situation is becoming worse with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
