HelpAWS invites dog lovers to attend Whitby Ren’s Pets

Castries, Saint Lucia: HelpAWS, the dog shelter organisation in Saint Lucia, has called dog lovers to attend the Whitby Ren’s Pets this coming Sunday, July 23rd, from 11-2. Come say hi to some friendly HelpAWS pups and alumni, as well as lovely volunteers! One never knows; you might just fall in love and find your forever furry best friend, the organisation mentioned.

Furthermore, the shelter outlined that events are such an important part of HelpAWS for getting the puppies adopted, raising awareness, and fundraising.

“Since our dogs come from Saint Lucia, most people aren’t able to meet their pup until they come to Canada. However, our events allow our pups who are already in Canada and in foster care to get adopted, and they allow you as dog lovers to meet our HelpAWS pups in person as well as learn a little bit more about them, where they came from, and you get a more in-depth knowledge of our organisation,” the social media update by the organisation mentioned.

“Events are also a great way to raise awareness about our organisation and spread the word about all the work that we do. Getting our name out there is just one of the ways in which we sometimes get adopters who provide loving homes for our babies forever,” it furthermore mentioned.

While inviting the public to support and donate, the organisation mentioned that fundraising is another big aspect of our events; being a nonprofit organisation, the organisation is only dependent on individual donations from our lovely followers and donors.

“The donations we receive go such a long way towards helping us provide better care for the babies in our care and those to come. Our team also LOVES talking about HelpAWS, so please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions you may have,” it highlighted.
