Grenada: New York Times featured Grenada in their list of must visit places in 2024. The list featured the country at 45th place out of 52 places, and this feature in itself is a huge achievement.
Grenada is also referred to as the Isle of Spices because of its abundant and diverse spices in the region. And, specifically, this name has been given to the country due to the production of nutmeg and mace in the country.
The special features of the country, which include spice production, make the country deserving to secure a place in the list of must-visit places. If considering the weather, the country has tropical weather and fertile soil, which fosters the nurturing of spices.
Significantly, the country is known for its spice cultivation tradition for a long period, and there are multiple spices for which the country is recognized.
The unique features are not just limited to the spices, but also there are certain tour attractions, which include Grenada’s popular Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park. In this park, 31 sculptures have already been installed as part of the expanding coral carnival.
Along with it, 19 other moorings as well have been installed within the bounds of the marine protected area. These moorings allow the accommodation of additional vessels, which in turn enhances the safety of vessels used for their tour and the occupants.
Moreover, this park is a famous destination for scuba divers and snorkelers who come from all over the world to experience the beauty of underwater sculptures. There is a special sculpture “Christ of the Deep” statue, which is the copy of a popular statue located in Italy.
In the sculpture park of Grenada, the statue is located in a shallow area of the park, making it easy to see for the divers.
All in all, the country has all the best things to offer the tourists.
