There will be no fogging on Thursday, August 1, as this is Emancipation Day, a public holiday.

Public Advisory:

Fogging activities are carried out daily between 4:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Residents are advised to open windows and doors to permit the fog to gain access to the interior of the house to kill adult mosquitoes. However, children are not encouraged to be in the fog because it might be harmful to health.

The Vector Control Unit is aware that there might be some unforeseen events that might interfere with completing the scheduled activities. If such a thing happens, they will reschedule and return to complete the activity.

The public needs to cooperate so the program can be effective. They could always make a more livable environment, free from the threat of mosquito-borne diseases if they would just heed the advisories and let the fog into their homes.
