Election will be held on July 14 for District Disaster Management Committee in Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia: Elections are underway for Soufriere District Disaster Management Committee. As per the information provided, the elections will be conducted on July 14, 2022 (Thursday). The timing for the elections will be 6 pm and will be hosted at Soufriere Infant School.

The notice was hereby given that an election will be held for the purpose of electing an Executive Committee for the Soufriere District Disaster Management Committee.

The candidates will be elected for following positions:

a. Chair
b. Deputy Chair
c. Secretary
d. Assistant Secretary
e. Treasurer
f. Assistant Treasurer
g. Communications Officer

Persons interested in serving on the Committee will put forward their nomination on the evening of the election. All committee volunteers are required to be residents within the district.
