Dr Denzil Douglas invites citizens to attend the Health Fair, promotes healthy lifestyle
Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended an invitation to the citizens of the nation to attend the Health Fair which will be held today, 23rd March 2024 at Dieppe Bay Lawn. The main objective of the fair is to raise awareness among the citizens about their health.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended an invitation to the citizens of the nation to attend the Health Fair which will be held today, 23rd March 2024 at Dieppe Bay Lawn. The main objective of the fair is to raise awareness among the citizens about their health.
While sharing details about the fair, Dr Denzil Douglas shared the post on his Facebook account with the caption “HEALTH FAIR, tomorrow @ 10 am-3 pm on Dieppe Bay Lawn. It’s open to All!!!”
Dr Denzil Douglas has always been committed to promoting a good and healthy lifestyle among the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis. His main vision behind this fair is to launch new wellness initiatives, disseminate health education information and prevent diseases.
The fair will be attended by several consultants which include, the Dept of Constituency Empowerment, Livelihood Improvement for Family Transformation, and SK Health Promotion Unit which will guide the attendees about the Rapid testing of HIV/AIDS, Mental Health Education and Nutrition Education.
Admission to the health fair is free of cost, as the administration believes that it is the right of every citizen to raise awareness about the importance of health.
Moreover, it will also be attended by several health consultants which includes, doctors and nurses in Constituency 6, doctors from the USA- Leeward Island Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT), Doctors from ROC (Taiwan)- Pediatrician, Eye Surgeons and Emergency Medical Doctors.
These health consultants will play a crucial role in enhancing awareness and knowledge among all citizens so that they follow and implement healthy guidelines and diets in their daily routines.
This fair is one of the activities of March which is conducted in order to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Dr Denzil Douglas. Following this, one last activity which will be conducted is Health Walk on Saturday, 30th March 2024 with a vision to encourage others to adopt healthy behaviours and make positive lifestyle changes.
The other activities which were conducted in order to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Dr Denzil Douglas included the Branch Executive Lunch Meeting, Branch elections/Branch meeting, Anniversary Church Service, Community Walkthrough and Second book launch of the Minister.
