Dr Denzil Douglas denies fake allegations by MSR Media and promises to protect legacy

As per the details, in the last few days, there has been a wide circulation of a document purported to be a civil claim filed by MSR Media SKN Ltd, MSR Hotels & CO. Ltd, MSR Media International LLC and Philippe Martinez in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division against himself and other parties.
Therefore, Dr. Denzil Douglas took to his social media account and denied all the allegations and called them “ridiculous.” He stated that these fake claims make serious allegations in his personal capacity as well as in his capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Federal Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Minister Douglas asserted that the document is riddled with hearsay and the allegations are completely baseless and have been deliberately getting spread in order to destroy his reputation, character and his profound legacy.
While acknowledging the work that the Minister has done for the development of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, he remarked that he is truly proud of the record of achievements of the Government that he has led from 1995-2015. He stated that he has always maintained the authenticity of the work he has done to transform the Citizenship by Investment Programme into one of inclusion.
Minister Denzil Douglas also said that over the last two decades, the programme which is modernized by the Government has been single handedly responsible for the socioeconomic fortunes. He further called it as “unchallengeable fact” that his administration has always been at the forefront in elevating the island nation to greater heights.
He further noted that he has utmost confidence and faith that he will be proven innocent in the court and his name will be vindicated from all the fake claims and allegations. This is due to the plaintiffs, who will be presented as evidence in a court of law against those sinister allegations.
Minister Douglas also extended gratitude to all his well-wishers for their calls and messages. He further stated with full belief that justice will be prevailed and he will not let the mischief makers triumph in their long-held obsessions to disturb the history of the country and the legacy he has built over the years.
