Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Denzil Douglas extended congratulations to Don Grant of Saddlers Village. He is newly appointed as the Airport Manager of St. Christopher Air and Sea Port Authority who is all set to embark on this journey with the motive to keep the airport safe, clean and welcoming for all the guests and travellers.
While extending congratulations, Dr. Douglas took to his official Facebook account and stated “Don has a long, extensive and distinguished career in Geography and Aviation. We wish Don all the best in this role. Congrats again Don.”
Don Grant’s journey in the field of aviation began in 1994 when he started as a certified meteorological observer at the Caribbean Meteorological Institute. Following his profound passion for geography, he moved forward towards aviation roles.
In 1997, Grant marked the beginning of a significant phase in his career, as he trained at the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Training Center. In this phase, he enhanced his skills and aligned his practices with the rigorous standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
Don Grant has been working at the forefront at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport and the British Virgin Islands Aviation Authority for the last 30 years. With his unwavering commitment and dedication, he has earned the position of a leader who prioritizes both the safety of the public and the welfare of the employees.
While appointing Grant as an Airport Manager, the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority is expecting that under his leadership, the airport will undergo crucial developments which aim to ensure an effective, efficient and comfortable environment for both travelers and staff members.
Following his appointment as the manager, Don Grant stated that he is hoping that this appointment will bring collective approaches to the gateway in order to ensure safety and security for all the passengers travelling on the airlines.
He further added that he will try his best that his team will focus on enriching and providing comfortable and best experiences to all the travellers by following all the protocols and safety procedures.
