Dr Denzil Douglas congratulates 10 recipients of Ross University Scholarship
Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended congratulations to the 10 recipients of the Ross University Scholarships Awards Program. The scholarship is provided to the students in order to extend help to them for their growth and development.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended congratulations to the 10 recipients of the Ross University Scholarships Awards Program. The scholarship is provided to the students in order to extend help to them for their growth and development.
The Ross University Scholarships Awards Program was conducted on Wednesday, 20th March 2024 under the patronage and guidance of Governor General, Dame Marcella Liburd. The scholarships were provided to the students of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College and the Nevis Sixth Form College.
While extending congratulations to the recipients of the scholarship, Minister Denzil Douglas stated “Congratulations to the 10 Recipients of the Ross University Scholarships Awards Program.”
The main aim of the scholarship is to assist the students in their educational journey, ensuring development in several sectors of the country with the vision of reducing poverty and bringing economic sustainability.
There are numerous benefits of these scholarships which extend beyond financial help. It plays a pivotal role in enhancing educational opportunities, which later creates a profound impact on the nation’s growth and development.
“Thanks to RUSVM for their continued support and contributions to the development of our People and Country as a whole,” noted Dr Denzil Douglas.
Moreover, the ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister and Minister of Education of St Kitts, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, Minister of Education of Nevis, Troy Liburd, Permanent Secretary of Education, Lisa Romayne-Pistana, Cabinet Secretary, Dr Marcus Natta, Dean of Ross University, Dr Seam Callanan, students and other invited guests.
Moreover, the Minister of Education of St Kitts also extended congratulations and expressed delight in being able to offer opportunities to the students.
“I am pleased to have been afforded the opportunity to join my colleagues in supporting the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine last night as ten students were inducted into its Scholarships Awards Programme,” asserted Dr Geoffrey Hanley.
He also extended gratitude to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine for their collaboration and being a helping hand in fostering student’s education.
While talking about the partnership, Dr Geoffrey Hanley said “our partners in education, RUSVM is a solid institution that has a global impact. We thank them for their work in our federation and look forward to our continued alliance.”
