Dominica: US Ambassador Roger F Nyhus visits Minister Irving Mclntyre
The acting Prime Minister of the country, Dr Irving Mclntyre welcomed the new Ambassador of the United States of America, Roger F Nyhus to Dominica. The meeting aimed at strengthening the relations between both the countries.

Dominica: The acting Prime Minister of the country, Dr Irving Mclntyre welcomed the new Ambassador of the United States of America, Roger F Nyhus to Dominica. The meeting aimed to strengthen relations between both countries.
Dr Irving Mclyntyre is the Minister for Finance, Economic Development, Climate Resilience and Social Security. He is presently the Acting Prime Minister as PM Roosevelt Skerrit is in Guyana for the 46th Regular Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM.
On arriving in Dominica, the ambassador, Roger F Nyhus met Sylvanie Burton, the President of Dominica. He presented his credentials to him and extended the promise to maintain relationships between both countries.

As Dominica is on its path of becoming the World’s first Climate Resilient Nation, the ambassador applauded the country and committed to address the challenges and provide support to Dominica.
Roger F Nyhus also added that the collaboration of the countries would foster mutual understanding and friendly relations between both the countries, Dominica and the United States of America.
The Ambassador, Roger F Nyhus visited Grenada also at the starting of the February. And, as per the reports, it was stated that in the coming week, he will present his credentials in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, the Commonwealth of Dominica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. And, he had already visited Barbados, Saint Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda.
As the country welcomed Roger F Nyhus, the Acting PM (Dr Irving Mclntyre) extended his wishes to PM Roosevelt Skerrit for the successful tour of the duty. He also highlighted Dominica’s willingness to continue working with the United States on matters of security and development assistance.
Considerably, the formal relations between Dominica and the United States were established in 1978. The cooperative relationships between both nations aim at advancing economic prosperity, community resilience and energy security.
