Guyana: Cheddi Jagan International Airport is undergoing significant expansions with a vision to cater to the needs and demands of the passengers. With the advancement of the facilities, the management aims to bolster security measures and improve overall experience of passengers by offering them with advanced amenities.
Recently, Bishop Juan Edghill, the Minister of Public Works made his visit to the airport and had a firsthand look at all the developments undergoing at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport. During his visit, he met with several officials and received updates on important key projects.
The management is working on the construction of the commercial centre with the motive of creating a more modern and comfortable space for passengers, ensuring their overall travel experience. The authorities aim to create a space which is designed keeping comfort of the travellers in mind which can offer soothing ambiance to all the visitors.
Along with that, the airport authorities are also aiming to construct a brand-new administrative building which will play a significant role in improving the efficiency and operations for over 300 airport staff. The authorities of Cheddi Jagan International Airport are eying to enhance the team work which will be able to build trust, respect and improve the overall communication between all the workers.
The installation of an in-line baggage system will be proved to be a huge benefit for all the passengers as the streamline baggage handling will result in less downtime and preventing dissatisfaction of any passenger.
Minister Edghill ensured everyone that he is committed to complete these projects on time and offer all the travellers with best of the facilities and amenities. He noted that these projects are all part of a larger effort to modernize the Cheddi Jagan International Airport and make it a world-class facility for Guyana.
The airport management of Cheddi Jagan International Airport is making continuous efforts to ensure that all the passengers are offered comfortable and memorable experiences. They have promised to address all those issues that the visitors are facing in order to improve the productivity and their day-to-day operations of the airport.
