“While they were on the island, they had a tour to Titou Gorge, Boiling Lake, and Kalinago Barana Aute, participated in Mero’s beach cleanups, and enjoyed a farm-to-table dinner, all while engaging in practical coursework,” added the Ministry.

Such a statement so evidently elaborates on the beautiful attractions which the country offers. As well as the adventures offered at the place serve as icing on the cake. Even the participation of the students and teachers in Mero’s beach cleanups says all that much effort they have put into the betterment of the country.

Such cleanups also contribute a lot to making the atmosphere clear. The climate issue is the core issue of the Caribbean nations. Such an initiative by the students would play a great role in addressing the issues.

Moreover, at the farm-to-table dinner, P S Lisa Valmond and Technical Officer Whitney White also joined the college members for dinner and yoga sessions. Such participation works as fostering insightful discussions on Tourism in Dominica.

“We look forward to welcoming many more students from Eckerd College and other universities abroad to our Nature Island,” mentioned the Dominica Ministry of Tourism.

With this, the country stated the pleasure of having Eckerd College’s students and teachers at their place, are looking forward to having many more.
