Carnival 2024 ready to spread fun in Trinidad and Tobago, calendar released
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Trinidad and Tobago featured the calendar for Carnival Come Back Home 2024 on January 9, 2024. The calendar includes the events of about two months, that is January and February.

Trinidad and Tobago: The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Trinidad and Tobago, featured the calendar for Carnival Come Back Home 2024 on January 9, 2024.
The calendar includes the events of about two months, that is January and February. One of the events, the National Panorama Small Conventional Bands Semi Finals, has already been held on January 6, 2024 at Victoria Square, Port of Spain. And, the finals for this is to be held on January 12, 2024 (Friday) at Skinner Park, San Fernando at 7 pm.
Moreover, other events are also scheduled for other dates, such as the National Junior Panorama Finals on January 14 (Sunday) at Carnival City, Port of Spain, at 9 am. On January 19 (Friday), the Opening of John Cupid Carnival Village at QPS at 6 pm is going to be held.
Further, four more events are scheduled for the month of January, which are scheduled as follows:
- National Stick Fighting Preliminaries on January 26 (Friday)
- National Panorama Medium & Large Semi-Finals “Savannah Party” on January 28 (Sunday)
- National Extempo Preliminary on January 29 (Monday)
- National Stick Fighting semi-finals on January 31 (Wednesday)
Probing ahead towards the events for the month of February, the whole month marks the festive vibes as the events are scheduled very frequently from the beginning and the end of the month. Interestingly, there are also multiple events scheduled for a single date.
For February 1, 2024 (Thursday), Senior Kings & Queens Preliminaries at Carnival City at QPS at 7 pm and for February 3, 2024 (Saturday), Red Cross Junior Carnival at Carnival City at QPS at 11 am, Calypso Fiesta at Skinner Park, San Fernando at 12 noon.
Next, Junior Kings, Queens & Individuals Preliminaries at Adam Smith Square at Port of Spain at 9 am and National Panorama Medium Conventional Bands Finals at Dwight Yorke Stadium, Tobago at 7 pm is scheduled for February 4 (Sunday). Additionally, the National Junior Calypso Monarch Finals at Carnival City at QPS at 10 pm.
Significantly, for February 12, 2024 (Monday), almost five events are scheduled, which are as follows:
- J’ouvert at Port of Spain at 4 am
- Neville Jules Bomb Competition at Victoria Square at Port of Spain at 4 am
- Monday Traditional Parade at Grand Stand at QPS at 9 am
- Senior Parade of Bands at Port of Spain at 12 noon
- Brass Bacchanal at Carnival City at QPS at 9 pm.
Many other events as well are scheduled for the entertainment of the citizens of the region.
