Caribbean: Christmas 2022 has come to an end, and the Caribbean leaders have extended their heartfelt messages towards the people of their respective countries and those residing worldwide. Prime Ministers and the Presidents of the Caribbean countries took to social media to greet the population.

Additionally, Prime Minister extended wishes on behalf of his wife, Maria Browne and his children. He stated, “I wish my people a Merry Christmas and assured them the future together in greater prosperity and progress. God Bless you.”
Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, said, “From this Government to all Barbadians. From my family and me to yours. From my heart to your hearts, I wish you Happy Holidays and God’s blessings on Barbados and Barbadians everywhere. Merry Christmas, my friends. And a healthy, peaceful, productive, and caring 2023.”

We welcome our loved ones and friends back home to spend the holidays, and we party in the Grenadian Traditions that make this time of year unique; as we celebrate, let us not lose sight of true meaning of Christmas.”
He further outlined that the past two years have been difficult for many in the community, and the truth is the season may not be as bright for every family in the spirit of giving as the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. “I encourage all Grenadians at home and abroad to think of ways that you can personally reach out and help a family or your child to experience the joy of Christmas,” Dickon Mitchell noted.
He concluded his message and mentioned, “I wish each and everyone a happy and safe Christmas and God’s continued blessings in 2023.”
President of the Republic of Guyana, Irfaan Ali, also extended the “Seasons’ Greetings” towards the people on behalf of the people, government and his family.
Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica, extended greetings with a safety message. He stated, “We all want to have a delightful Christmas. We want to be able to take their children to the grand market, buy our family gifts, and have our favourite Christmas Day meals. The message of peace, goodwill and the celebration of life is for all; however, it means nothing to individuals with criminal intent who are determined to create havoc in our society.”
Keith Rowley, Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister, extended Best Christmas Wishes to everyone from his family to ours.
The Caribbean Region has been celebrating the Holiday season. It is asked to the general public to stay safe and secure and have a fun and joyous time.
