Caribbean Airlines resumes operation to St Vincent following Beryl

The Caribbean Airlines are all set to resume its operations to St Vincent and the Grenadines following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

Caribbean: The Caribbean Airlines are all set to resume its operations to St Vincent and the Grenadines following the passage of Hurricane Beryl. As, recently they have announced the operation of recovery relief flights for St Vincent travellers whose flights were cancelled during the period 30th June – 3rd July 2024.

Notably, Caribbean Airlines will operate relief flights for ticketed and confirmed passengers who were displaced due to the regional flight cancellations. The relief flights will operate on 4th July with the first flight  BW3436, operating from Trinidad to St Vincent at a departure time of 8:00 am.

The return flight with number BW 3437 will travel from St Vincent at a departing time of 10:00 am to reach Trinidad. Also, the services will be provided to travelers who want to traverse between Barbados and St Vincent. The first flight with aircraft BW 3236 will depart at 10:30 am from Barbados to reach St Vincent. On the other hand, the return flight with aircraft BW3237 will travel from St Vincent at a departing time of 12:00 pm to reach Barbados.

The Caribbean Airlines has also announced the recovery flight operating between Trinidad, St Vincent and New York. The flight with number BW 3552 will first depart from Port of Spain at 2:00 pm which will further reach St Vincent. The flight will then operate from St Vincent to New York with departing time of 4:35 pm.

The return flight with aircraft BW 3553 will depart from New York at 2:30 am to reach St Vincent. Then, the flight will depart St Vincent at 8:30 am to reach Trinidad.

Notably, all these flights were cancelled due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl which caused massive destructions at St Vincent and the Grenadines. The high intense wind speed and heavy rainfall led to the damage of 90% of the infrastructure. The devastation also caused the death of one individual and left several citizens homeless.

However, St Vincent has been given all clear by the National Hurricane Centre. Therefore, the Caribbean Airlines announced the operation of services to the country and aims to ensure comfortable and memorable experience to all the travellers.
