Caribbean Airlines launches inaugural flight to Puerto Rico

Caribbean Airlines introduced the inaugural flight BW290 from Trinidad to San Juan, Puerto Rico on Sunday. With the introduction of the new route, the airlines aim to enhance connectivity within the Caribbean region.
The flights from Port of Spain to San Juan will operate its services on three days i.e. Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. The passengers on the first flight to San Juan received goody bags filled with Caribbean Airlines branded items. Also, all the travellers were entertained by the talented Leandra Head, marking celebrations for the airlines on its inaugural flight.
Notably, upon the arrival of the aircraft in Puerto Rico, it was greeted with a traditional water salute and also the travellers were welcomed with authentic entertainment of Puerto Rican. They showcased the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation to all the passengers and welcomed them with their exceptional offerings.
Moreover, the CEO of Caribbean Airlines, Garvin Medera expressed excitement on this new route and stated that they are excited to expand their route network. And, this network will play a huge role in enhancing their connections to the other destinations.
He further asserted that Caribbean Airlines plays a vital role in connecting the Caribbean and by the end of this year, they will connect the Spanish, French and English-speaking Caribbean with each other. Also, the airlines will connect their links with the North American diaspora and business and leisure travellers by welcoming and giving them an opportunity to explore the beautiful Caribbean region.
The Airlines have also launched the service under their “Welcome Home” campaign which aims to attract visitors and make them explore the diverse offerings of the Caribbean.
Also, the introduction of San Juan route is a testament to the unwavering dedication and commitment of the Caribbean Airlines towards providing reliable and convenient travel options for all the passengers.
The CEO also noted that such expansion in the route services will not only provide enhance travel options to all the visitors but will also play a huge role in fostering economic growth and cultural exchange within the Caribbean region.
