Antigua and Barbuda to witness first edition of Restaurant Week from May 7
The Tourism Authority of the twin island paradise of Antigua and Barbuda has announced that the first edition of Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week will commence from May 7 to May 21, 2023.

Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda: The Tourism Authority of the twin island paradise of Antigua and Barbuda has announced that the first edition of Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week will commence from May 7 to May 21, 2023.
Restaurant Week in Antigua and Barbuda will be hosted and managed by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. The week will be celebrating the rich culture, food and people of the beautiful island country in the Caribbean region. The authority has announced that a variety of delectable cuisine from various ranges of restaurants will be offered to the visitors and the residents of the country. The food will be presented at discounted prices, prix-fixe, and special events will be organized along with appearances of the celebrity chef.
“Eat Like a Local” will be a unique promotional feature which will be added to the event to showcase home-cooked food along with national dishes offered at homes across the country, street vendors as well as local food spots.
Charles Fernandez, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment, stated, “Restaurant Week is an open invitation for all to come to the nation and join us all at dining tables across the country. Sit back, relax, laugh and enjoy our hospitality as well as a truly divine foodie experience offered by a team of amazing culinary artists and hosts.”
It further added, “From restaurants to local food spots, the nation has one of the best food experiences an individual can find, and the authorities of Antigua and Barbuda are extremely excited to finally showcase the culinary side to the world.”
CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, Colin C James, mentioned, “Restaurant Week of Antigua and Barbuda will be strategically positioned right off the heels of the renowned Antigua Sailing Week Regatta for the purpose of extending the peak season of the nation.”
