All sports and other gatherings suspended for 2 weeks in St Kitts and Nevis

St Kitts: The government of St Kitts and Nevis released new guidelines on Tuesday as the country recorded several new coronavirus cases in the last week. Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris announced a daily curfew from 11 pm to 5 am, and all gatherings are cancelled for two weeks.
PM Dr Harris said that they have to live with the covid-19 virus forcibly in future, and the most effective way to get rid of this is to get yourself and your loved ones vaccinated.
In order to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus, some guidelines are being finalized by the health department of St Kitts and Nevis. The new guidelines include a curfew from 11 pm to 5 am for the coming 14 days to slow down the increasing cases of the COVID-19 virus in the country. The number of passengers in public transportation buses and ferries will be reduced to 50% from the actual capacity. This will result in maintaining social distancing, with which it will become possible in reduction of the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
The pharmaceuticals measures should also be kept on top, which includes hand sanitizing, wearing a mask, social distancing must be kept in mind on public places, work places and places for worships.
All contact sports are suspended for the coming two weeks. The schools will remain closed for two weeks to stop the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. No mass events will be allowed in that should become a reason for super spreader. Funerals should be done by keeping the COVID-19 guidelines in the notice, and people’s capacity should also keep in mind in church.
PM Dr Harris said that only fully vaccinated person would be allowed to enter St. Kitts and Nevis till further notice. He encouraged St Kitts and Nevis citizens to get vaccinated and give their loved ones the first vaccination shot if not given till now.
Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris said that the names of the affected person should not be public either the name of any other information and to be sensitive towards them.
