41-year-old dies following poor medical condition in flight heading to Charlotte

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands: The 41-year-old woman died after falling ill in the aeroplane on Wednesday, 28th February, 2024. The bird was en routing from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
As per the details shared by the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force, an American airline with flight number AA 2790 was moving towards Charlotte, North Carolina when the deceased woman faced health issues.
According to the reports, Air Traffic Control Power made a request to the Police Control room for medical help for the women who was suffering severe health problems. The lady was also given cardiopulmonary resuscitation in order to make her feel better.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a technique which is used during cases of emergency when someone’s heartbeat or breathing stops.
The plane diverted to the Providenciales International Airport following the poor medical condition of the women. She was subsequently taken to the Cheshire Medical Centre where she was examined by doctors thoroughly and was pronounced dead.
The name of the deceased has not been revealed yet. Along with that, the doctors are conducting the examination and they have ensured to hold a post-mortem examination of the body in order to find out the real cause of the death.
This incident captured the attention of many people and various residents took to their social media accounts to extend condolences to the friends and family of the deceased and expressed their views on the news.
One person with a Facebook account Georgia Mclune commented “Omg! That is so sad, may her soul rest in peace my condolences to the families and friends.”
Another person with a Facebook handle Mary Alice O’ Connor commented the following “My heart goes out to you for you and your family. I too, recently, and suddenly, lost one of my sisters. May God protect you and your family during this trying time. God bless.”
“Oh dear…how horrifying for the poor woman, the crew and passengers…. can you imagine! Awful,” wrote the other person.
