134 COVID-19 patients discharged in Dominica
The Health Ministry has released the COVID-19 update report, according to which 134 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital facilities as of October 1, 2021.

Roseau, Dominica: The Health Ministry has released the COVID-19 update report, according to which 134 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital facilities as of October 1, 2021.
With these, the recovery rate of the island country has climbed to 3,140.
The Health Ministry informed that a total of seventy-one individuals have tested positive for the contagious viral disease. With this, the total number of active cases has risen to 511.
Out of the new cases reported, 10 results were positive from the RT-PCR test, while in total, sixty-one individuals tested positive from Rapid Antigen Test.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak emerged in the island country, a total of 3,673 people contracted the viral disease.
The Health Ministry’s report further notes that till October 1 2021, a total of 75,708 COVID-19 tests have been conducted on the island. On the other hand, in total twenty-two, people lost their lives to the contagious mutant.
The COVID-19 report further highlights the statistics of the COVID-19 vaccination; that is, a total of 25,807 people have taken their first shot of the vaccine. While in total, 21,729 individuals have received their second jab of the vaccine and are now fully vaccinated.
As per to the statistics, worldwide, so far, there are a total of 235,129,180 confirmed coronavirus cases. A total of 211,883,593 individuals have been recovered from the contagious mutant, and a total of 4,807,171 people scummed to the deadliest viral disease.
Besides this, the Health Ministry is continuously urging the citizens to take their doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible so as to win this battle against the coronavirus and asked them to follow the COVID-19 health protocols such as – wearing masks, sanitizing frequently, and maintaining social distance.
