Miss Teen Dominica Pageant is set to launch

Roseau, Dominica: Waitukubuli Dance Theater Company presents the Miss Teen Dominica Pageant Launch on January 3, 2024 (Wednesday) at Alliance Francaise at 5:30 pm.

The Waitukubuli Dance Theater Company introduces the beautiful, brave and intelligent young ladies whose names are:

  • Nyanna Stevens (NECS)
  • Geishana Gregoire (PCSS)
  • Shernia Esprit (CBS)
  • Renia Joseph (PSS)
  • Lizanne Cuffy (CHS)
  • Sherkhia Andrew (DGS)

All these beautiful and intelligent ladies will compete against one another for the title of Miss Teen Dominica 2024. The Waitukubuli Dance Theater Company shared the post on their social media to disseminate information regarding this.

The citizens of the country and the interested ones commented on the post and presented their support for the participants. A netizen said, “Let’s go sister. Team DGS” to support Sherkhia Andrew where on another hand, others mentioned “Team Shernia (CBSS) Everyday, All Day,”  to show the support for Shernia Esprit.

Shifting the focus towards the events by Waitukubuli Dance Theater Company, the theatre has been in existence for 44 years and, from that time, has organized several events to showcase the national heritage of the region.

A few months back only, on November 19, 2023, the 52nd year of speaking the Art of Dance Language was organized at the Old Mill Cultural Center.

Moreover, the celebrations under Splendours of Waitukubuli were held for three days, that is from November 17 to November 19, 2023 (Friday to Sunday) at the Old Mill Cultural Center, which even had ticket prizes of $40 and $20 for adults and children respectively.

All such cultural events provide the opportunity for the local people to showcase their talent, which even provides an opportunity for the people to be at the front of the queue, directly leading towards the growth and development of the region. 

Even in 2023, the Miss Teen Dominica Pageant was held in the month of February, where Shian Sylvester, Shervez Seaman, Kenisha Antoine, Mia Williams and Jharrisia Gage participated.
