A Cocorite man in Trinidad and Tobago was charged with the murder of Odell Samuel on 27th November 2023.

The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Anthony Caruth; he was charged with the offence of killing Odell Samuel on 27th November, following the advice received from the Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard, SC, on Sunday 26th November 2023.

The victim was gunned down by the culprit near a bus shed in Port of Spain on Sunday, 19th November 2023.

As per the information, On Sunday, 19th November 2023, Samuel, 27 years old, a resident of Diego Martin, was standing at a bus shed along the Audrey Jeffers Highway in the near surrounding of Movie Towne.

Subsequently, a white motor vehicle pulled up alongside him and a man with a gun emerged there.

According to the information, the culprit fired several shots at the victim. Thus, he was fired with so many shots that he died at the spot.

Therefore, the police officials of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region One, took this matter seriously and started their investigation into the matter, apprehending one male suspect in connection with the incident on 21st November 2023.

Moreover, the investigation is ongoing and was spearheaded by the Senior Superintendent. Singh, Superintendent. Douglas and the matter were supervised by W/ASP (Ag) Bridglal, Inspector Mongroo, Inspector (Ag) Ramsumair and all of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region One.

Some days back, another man of 28-year-old was charged with the 2014 murder case of Radha Ramdeen and Krishna Ramdeen.

The suspect was identified as Yunus Ali and was charged with the offence via warrant by the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region Three, following the advice received from the Officer of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As per the information, Radha Ramdeen and her husband Krishna Ramdeen, residents of Cedros, were discovered dead at their home on 7th January 2014.

When the officers searched their house, their home was looted and sudden amount of cash was also stolen.

Investigations of this matter were supervised by Superintendent Dhilpaul, ASP Steve Persad and Cpl Ramnarine, all of HBI Region Three.

Yunus Ali is currently in jail for the offence of murder.
