Jamaica: PM Holness mourns on passing of ‘Tyrone Robinson’

Jamaica: There is unfortunate news for all Jamaicans. Tyrone Robinson died the previous night after battling illness over the past few weeks.PM Andrew Holness pays tribute to JLP leader Tyrone Robinson. He was 58 years old.

Businessman, Senior Party Organizer and Board Chairman for NERHA, Tyrone Robinson was the leader of Jamaica Labour Party.
Andrew Holness pays tribute:
PM Andrew Holness shared his thoughts via his official account of Facebook. He wrote, “Tyrone was not only a pivotal stalwart for the JLP who gave yeoman’s assistance, individually in the northern belt of the island, but he was also perpetrated to the improvement of his country through assistance on various public committees including being Chairman of the North-East Regional Health Authority up until the time of his demise.”

Prime Minister Andrew Holness also declared that Mr Tyrone Robinson had acquired complexities after testing positive for coronavirus and pushing all Jamaicans to realise that Covid-19 remains a critical warning to our lives.”
People’s Reaction:
Facebook User wrote, “Sad indeed. Condolences to his family. People Covid is dead serious be careful and adhere to the rules. On the other hand, we must consider that these rules are not 100% proof, but they give us a fighting chance. Flaunt the rules, and you have no chance.”
Another citizen of Jamaica wrote, “Condolences to Mr Robinson’s family. So sad. We have lost so many persons from this pandemic yet some persons still not adhering to the protocols. This is severe PM Holness. I went to a beach in Ocho Rios, and I was shocked out of my wits. We were the only ones in the mask.”
Someone wrote,” Mr Prime minister, please continue with the online classes our Students, Teachers and the entire family is at risk the public transportation is too risky for the kids they picked up the kids like sardines if there were schools busses it would be a little different at least wait until the vaccine is safe for the nation to take then the government to take some kids are doing fine with online classes hear our prayers oh God have mercy upon the country intervened Oh God and give the leaders wisdom and knowledge because without knowledge we will perish.”
