interCaribbean Airways touches down in St Kitts and Nevis
The interCaribbean Airway CRJ 700 landed in St Kitts and Nevis from Barbados, bringing along large number of tourists to the country.

The interCaribbean Airway CRJ 700 landed in St Kitts and Nevis from Barbados, bringing along large number of tourists to the country. With the arrival of the passengers, the tourism authority of the country warmly welcomed all the passengers and offered the tourists with plethora of experiences.
The arrival of the CRJ 700 shed light on the continuous efforts of the tourism authority towards making, St Kitts and Nevis a premier destination for all the travellers. And, the visit of the interCaribbean Airways to the island nation emphasises the aim of the authorities towards enhancing air connectivity and elevating tourism sector to greater heights.
Notably, a Turks and Caicos-based airline, InterCaribbean Airways, made its inaugural flight to the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis on Sunday, 12th March 2023. These non-stop services operate between Grantly Adams International Airport of Barbados to Robert L Bradshaw International Airport of St Kitts and Nevis.
While shedding light on this visit by interCaribbean Airways to St Kitts, the Tourism Minister, Marsha Henderson stated that St Kitts is continuing to build a strong reputation as a must-see destination. She added that they are committed to advancing their airlift sector and strengthening their partnership with interCaribbean Airways.
Through this partnership with interCaribbean Airways, she asserted that they are also enhancing their relations with neighbouring Caribbean brothers and sisters by providing them access to travel to other destinations with ease.
The Chief Executive Officer of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Ellison “Tommy” Thompson also shared that they are continuing to prioritize the increase of stayover visitation to the destination. And, while talking about the visit of the interCaribbean Airways to St Kitts, she stated that it allows the destination to capitalize on the regional market.
She added that it gives an opportunity to the destination to implement key marketing strategies in order to make Caribbean region their second largest market once again.
The Chairman of the interCaribbean Airways, Lyndon Gardiner also stated that the visit of the aircraft to the St Kitts and Nevis demonstrates their commitment to facilitating intra-regional connectivity. He added that they are very pleased that they have added St Kitts and Nevis to their network.
interCaribbean Airways was established over 31 years ago by Founder and Chairman Mr. Lyndon Gardiner. This new connection enhances the growth of interCaribbean in the Eastern Caribbean, giving a truly connected Caribbean with interCaribbean.
interCaribbean operates ERJ145 50-seat jets, 48-seat ATR42-500, EMB 120 30-seat Turbo aircraft, and connecting the Turks & Caicos Islands, Antigua, The British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, Cuba, Haiti, Guyana, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and St Kitts.
