A wanted bulletin has been issued on 28-year-old Calton Akeem Bourne, a resident of Chapel Street Werk-En-Rust Georgetown, Guyana, by the higher-ranking officers of Guyana.
As per the information, Bourne is wanted for killing his own friend. His friend has been identified as 30-year-old Chavis Mark Wilson, who is a security guard by profession at East Ruimveldt, Georgetown. Notably, the murder took place between 8:30 and 9:00 hr.
According to the sources, both the suspect and the victim were friends and used to commit crimes together. However, on the day of murder, the suspect dragged Wilson from one section of the East Ruimveldt Squatting Dam to another and threw Wilson into a trench.
Subsequently, the suspect demanded money and an iPhone from the victim but Wilson didn’t speak a word and remained quiet. As per the details shared by the residents of the nearby area, the money and iPhone which the suspect was demanding from Bourne, was allegedly stolen by both the suspect and the security guard, but Wilson had kept both the items in his possession.
Wilson was then shot by Bourne while he was in the trench. After shooting at his own friend, the suspect ran away from the crime spot. However, the suspect returned back to the scene while the victim was trying to come out of the trench by taking the help of the people in the surrounding area.
As per the residents of the community, the suspect gave a look at the security guard and shouted at him to die before assaulting the already injured man and later escaped the crime spot. Wilson died from the wound created by a gunshot.
Moreover, the suspect was recently granted bail in a case of armed robbery in the Albouystown area.
The residents of the Guyana expressed their views through their comments via Facebook, one of the comments read as “Old saying what you do in life will come to haunt you later. You live by the sword and die by sword. Both were partner in crime so let it know to him time will eventually catch up on him and very well suffer the same faith.”
