Grand Bahamas Restaurant Feast to conclude its 3rd edition with showcase of rich flavours
This year, the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board once again brought a bit of flavours and culinary flair to diners during the 3rd Annual Grand Bahama Island Restaurant Feast.

The 3rd Annual Grand Bahamas Restaurant Feast is in its final edition and has extended welcome to all the citizens to be a part of the vibrant celebration of rich flavours of the country.
This year, the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board once again brought a bit of flavours and culinary flair to diners during the 3rd Annual Grand Bahama Island Restaurant Feast.
The feast began on 3rd August and has been scheduled to continue till 17th August 2024 under the theme “Sustainable Fishing and Farm/Sea to Table Cuisine.” The theme shed light on the vision of the authorities towards their sustained effort to promote responsible consumption and fishing practices.
With this theme, the authorities aim to contribute to the livelihood of fishermen and local farmers and also adopt sustainable practices in the food industry.
The festival kicked off with “A Taste of Grand Bahama” at the Port Lucaya Marketplace on August 3, from 12-7 pm. It was a family-friendly launch event which featured live entertainment, activities. Along with that, it was also a showcase of the marketplace’s diverse food and beverage vendors, like Zorba’s, Fairplay, Makari’s, Bootleg Chocolates and many more.
This launch event also set the stage for two weeks of culinary exploration across Grand Bahama Island. The 16 restaurants around the island offered unique and creative prix fixe menus, inclusive of an appetizer, entree, and dessert for one set price from 3rd to 17th August 2024.
The restaurants that participated in the event include, The Galley, Portobellos, The Green Gamut, Silk Café, upstairs on the Bay, Flying Fish Gastro Bar, Senor Frogs, Zorba’s Restaurant, Pisces Restaurant, Out Da Sea, E. J’s Bayside Café, The Stoned Crab, Off the Deep Edge, West Side Grille, Merport Bistro and Hartman’s Place Da Crab House.
While shedding light on the Grand Bahamas Restaurant Feast, the organizers stated that whenever it comes to dining on Grand Bahama Island, they offer an array of restaurants and culinary styles in order to satisfy their appetite deliciously.
“Treat your taste buds to an unforgettable dining experience at an upscale continental restaurant, join the locals for a traditional Bahamian fish fry or mini crab fest,” noted the organizers.
Moreover, Grand Bahamas Restaurant Feast always plays a huge role in promoting the unique culinary offerings of the region, attracting food enthusiasts and tourists, which results in enhancing the overall economic conditions of the country. It also offers a platform to the local chefs to showcase their talent and skills, generating huge amount of revenues.
