The government of Dominica has been working hard to uplift and advance its sports infrastructure. Recently, while presenting the budget for 2022-2023, the Prime Minister of the country assured that the Sports Trust Fund would be established by September 2022, which will fund the various projects.
These funds will help in the building of Olympic size synthetic athletic track, which will provide the athletes to practice and upgrade their skills. After providing such a place for practice, the athletes and players can now represent Dominica at international tournaments.
Apart from this, the government of Dominica has also promised that the sports industry will witness more upliftment as many other playing fields and facilities will be constructed or rehabilitated.
