Dominican government has found a new way to encourage the citizens for getting themselves inoculated, for which it is organising a unique camp in Mahaut Market on Saturday.

Dominica: Dominican government has found a new way to encourage the citizens for getting themselves inoculated, for which it is organising a unique camp in Mahaut Market on Saturday.
The Minister for Justice, Immigration and National Security – Rayburn Blackmoore, invited the citizens to the camp and get themselves vaccinated and get a chance to win exciting prizes such as – mobile phones, passes for exotic resorts etc.
The Minister stated that everybody who gets inoculated in the Mahaut camp on Saturday would get a chance to have their name placed in the final draw. The draw then will be done on the same day and will be live-streamed via – Facebook and DBS Radio.
The first 100 citizens will get a golden opportunity to win a coupon for KFC, then the 50 individuals will get a coupon for a Sub at IROC ons & Co. Ten individuals will also have an opportunity to win – 10lbs of Sliced Tuna from the Mahaut Fisher Folks.
Besides these, Dominican are having a chance to win – an A12 Samsung Mobile Handset compliments from FLOW Dominica, an A02 Samsung Mobile Handset, one day Pass for 2 Persons at Jungle Bay Resort Meals included, Two day Passes at Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica meals included and a Gift Certificate worth – $250.00 from the Continental Store.
Minister Blackmore added that a minimum of 10 people would have a chance to win a Cash Prize of or more than – $200, and the more individuals who are vaccinated, the greater the cash prize amount.
This unique method adopted by the Dominican government will assist the nation in achieving its target of herd immunity an to get back to normalcy.
The Dominican government has been able to suppress the deadliest COVID-19 mutant by implementing their effective COVID-19 measures.
In addition, Prime Minister – Roosevelt Skerrit is also continuously encouraging the Dominicans to get their jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine of either – Astrazeneca, Sinopharm and Pfizer.
